# via 'Join With A Pre-Existing Org(s)'

For customers with a pre-existing org structure, there are paths to successfully onboarding with Pump.

*These users should contact Pump via booking a* [*call*](https://calendly.com/team-pump/pump-demo?month=2024-07)*, Slack, intercom, or email to discuss the pros and cons of each onboarding approach.*

***

Customers joining from another organization will run a **Pump-provided script** to export their existing organization infrastructure, including SSO through IAM Identity Center, RAM, organization-level policies like SCPs, and more.

* Pump will set up a new organization for your company
* You'll be provided a delegated administrator account to run organization-level services
* You'll run a Pump-provided script as the delegated admin to import your organization-level configuration.

**Going forward:**

* You **WILL** maintain access to the delegated admin account for any org-level management required.
* You **WILL** maintain root access over all of your accounts.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.pump.co/aws-joining-pump/aws-multi-account-architecture/via-join-with-a-pre-existing-org-s.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
